Free Berks county book share.
I was BEYOND ecstatic this morning when I found this wonderful article written by Do It Local here in Berks County.
About a month ago I was searching on Facebook Marketplace for a play kitchen for my daughter. I came across a wonderful woman who had one for sale and went to pick it up. I noticed these book boxes in her driveway, so of course being me, I had to ask what they were all about.
Do It Local's mission is the following:
I am on a mission to share & create community collaborations that make it easier than ever to eat, shop, & support local!
Which is amazing and I completely support. So I decided to get myself a book box in the Mifflin area. Which, by the way, you definitely should go check out. It is located at Gino's Cafe in Shillington.
400 W. Broad St. Reading... yum!
There are currently 32 book share locations, which you can find on their website here...
Basically... take a book, leave a book. It's that easy! I am beyond thrilled to be able to help support a local business in our community.
Thank you Heather with Do It Local for introducing the book boxes to me! Do not forget to support local!
